Your Portrait Session Experience
Whether you're booking updated headshots, building a model portfolio, creating personal branding imagery, or capturing portraits for yourself, my sessions are designed to feel relaxed, collaborative, and intentional.
This page walks you through how the booking process works, what’s included in your session, and what to expect from planning through to image delivery.

Session Types
Sessions are tailored depending on what you’re needing imagery for. Common session types include:
Professional headshots
Model portfolio updates
Personal branding imagery

What’s Included
All portrait sessions include:
Pre-shoot consultation to discuss your vision, concepts, and wardrobe direction
Guidance with posing throughout your session
Professional colour grading and basic retouching
Private online proof gallery via Pixieset
Selection of professionally edited final images depending on your package
1-2 week turnaround after image selections are made
Packages can be customised depending on what you're creating and how you plan to use your images.
How Booking Works
Step 1 - Choose your session package
Start by reviewing the session package guide to select the option that best suits what you're needing.
Step 2 - Secure your session date
A $150 booking fee secures your session date and is deducted from your package total.
Session dates are not held until the booking fee has been paid.
As session times are limited and I may decline other enquiries for the same date, booking fees are non-refundable.
If the booking fee is not received within 5 days of your shoot agreement and invoice being issued, the session time may be released.
Step 3 - Planning your session
Once confirmed, we plan your shoot together. This can include:
concept direction
outfit planning
location or studio selection
moodboards if needed
Step 4 - Shoot day
I guide you throughout the session so you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera.
Step 5 - Select your images
After your session, you’ll receive a curated proof gallery where you select your included images, with the option to purchase additional edits if you'd like a larger selection.
Studio Sessions
Studio hire is not included in session package pricing and is booked separately depending on your preferred location and availability.
I’m happy to assist with coordinating studio hire once your booking fee has been received.
Studio availability cannot be guaranteed until both the session booking fee and studio hire are confirmed.
Location Options
Sessions can take place:
outdoors
in studio
at your workplace
or another agreed location suited to your vision
I’m happy to recommend locations depending on the style you're after.
Travel fees may apply outside Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Hair & Makeup
Hair and makeup services are not included, however I’m happy to recommend trusted artists depending on the look you're wanting to achieve.
Coordination can be arranged once your session has been confirmed.
How to Prepare
To get the most from your session:
arrive well rested and hydrated
bring wrinkle-free outfits ready to wear
bring references or inspiration if you have them
bring small touch-up items like a comb or powder
Most sessions allow time for 2-3 outfit concepts depending on session length.
You’re also welcome to bring props that reflect your personality or brand.
Receiving Your Images
After your session:
→ I carefully review and curate the strongest images
→ you receive a private proof gallery
→ you select your included edits
→ final images are edited, refined and delivered within 1-2 weeks
Additional images can be purchased if you'd like to expand your final selection.
