Whether you're booking updated headshots, building a model portfolio, creating personal branding imagery, or capturing portraits for yourself, my sessions are designed to feel relaxed, collaborative, and intentional.
This page walks you through how the booking process works, what’s included in your session, and what to expect from planning through to image delivery.

Sessions are tailored depending on what you’re needing imagery for. Common session types include:

What’s Included
All portrait sessions include:
Pre-shoot consultation to discuss your vision, concepts, and wardrobe direction
Guidance with posing throughout your session
Professional colour grading and basic retouching
Private online proof gallery via Pixieset
Selection of professionally edited final images depending on your package
1-2 week turnaround after image selections are made
Packages can be customised depending on what you're creating and how you plan to use your images.
How Booking Works
Step 1 - Choose your session package
Start by reviewing the session package guide to select the option that best suits what you're needing.
Step 2 - Secure your session date
A $150 booking fee secures your session date and is deducted from your package total.
Session dates are not held until the booking fee has been paid.
As session times are limited and I may decline other enquiries for the same date, booking fees are non-refundable.
If the booking fee is not received within 5 days of your shoot agreement and invoice being issued, the session time may be released.
Step 3 - Planning your session
Once confirmed, we plan your shoot together. This can include:
concept direction
outfit planning
location or studio selection
moodboards if needed
Step 4 - Shoot day
I guide you throughout the session so you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera.
Step 5 - Select your images
After your session, you’ll receive a curated proof gallery where you select your included images, with the option to purchase additional edits if you'd like a larger selection.
How to Prepare
To get the most from your session:
arrive well rested and hydrated
bring wrinkle-free outfits ready to wear
bring references or inspiration if you have them
bring small touch-up items like a comb or powder
Most sessions allow time for 2-3 outfit concepts depending on session length.
You’re also welcome to bring props that reflect your personality or brand.
Receiving Your Images
After your session:
→ I carefully review and curate the strongest images
→ you receive a private proof gallery
→ you select your included edits
→ final images are edited, refined and delivered within 1-2 weeks
Additional images can be purchased if you'd like to expand your final selection.

What’s included?
Hair and makeup are not included, but I’ m happy to recommend trusted professionals. I can assist with coordinating bookings once your session has been confirmed with a booking fee.

Session dates are confirmed once your booking fee has been paid. If the booking fee is not received within 5 days of your invoice being issued, the session time may be released and made available to other clients. Studio bookings are arranged after confirmation and are subject to availability.
How many images will I receive in my gallery?

After your session, I’ll provide a curated proof gallery so you can select your included images. The number of final edited images depends on your package, with the option to purchase additional images if you’d like a larger selection.
How soon can I expect the images?

Your gallery will be delivered within 1 to 2 weeks after selects have been made, depending on the level of retouching required and current studio workload. This timeline includes colour grading and basic retouching. If you need faster delivery, let me know - rush fees may apply.
Of course! You are welcome to bring along a friend, partner, or family member to help you feel more comfortable during the shoot, as long as they do not interfere with the session.

Can I bring a friend?

To get the most out of your session, ensure you arrive well-rested and hydrated. Bring any specific ideas, poses, or inspiration you’d like to incorporate. Clean, wrinkle-free clothing and well-maintained accessories can also enhance your portraits. If you’re unsure about anything, feel free to ask me during the planning phase.
The number of outfits depends on your session length. As a guide, I usually recommend planning up to 2-3 concepts per session so we can create a strong, curated set of final images rather than rushing through too many changes.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If your shoot is outdoors and the weather isn’t suitable, we’ll reschedule to the next available date that works for both of us.
Do you provide guidance on posing?

Absolutely! I’ll guide you throughout the session to ensure you feel confident and comfortable. Together, we’ll create flattering poses that highlight your best angles and expressions.
Can I purchase additional images after the shoot?

Yes! When selecting your images, if you find there are more photos than your package includes, you’re welcome to purchase additional images at $25 per image. Bundle pricing is available when selecting multiple additional images, so if you’re choosing a larger set I’ll make sure the best value option is applied for you.
What’s your cancellation and rescheduling process?

I understand that plans can change, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate a reschedule and find an alternative date for your session where possible, subject to availability.
If you need to cancel your session, please note that booking fees are non-refundable, as they secure your session date and time and may result in other enquiries being declined for that period.
If studio hire has been arranged, the studio’s cancellation policy will also apply.
Clear and timely communication is always appreciated and helps minimise inconvenience for everyone involved.
Raw files are not provided as they represent unfinished work. In rare cases where raw files are required for specific commercial workflows, this can be discussed prior to booking and additional licensing fees apply.

What’s the process for receiving my final images?

After the shoot, I will carefully review and remove any unusable images to ensure only the best shots are included. I will then send you a curated online gallery where you can select the number of images included in your package to be professionally edited. If you ’d like additional images edited, you ’ll have the option to select those as well for an additional fee.
